Overall management of the Company's Information Technology Department (IT), including but not limited to the following: developing the long-term strategic vision of the business unit and delivering functional technology solutions across the Company to meet emerging business challenges, enterprise data center operations, network and security operations and necessary field support functions which best utilize the Company's resources to maximize both cost and operational efficiency, and maximizing profitability for the Company. Create the vision and strategy for software solutions through either internal applications development or purchased and installed third party applications that deliver the Company's mission, vision and values ensuring a safe, clean and reliable operation. Specific duties include: provide leadership and direction to the Company's IT to ensure consistency and reliability of safe operations; establish the strategy and vision of IT and the software and hardware application needs for the Company, and create a sense of shared purpose and common direction in recruiting and retaining the best people; effectively demonstrate and lead the IT group through change, including interfacing with the Executive Leadership Team and the Company's Board of Directors, influence internal customer service levels by developing sustainable applications that enhance associate productivity and by meeting service standards, ensure the Company maintains appropriate IT security of hardware, data, and software; provide accurate, impartial information and advice on IT initiatives within the Company; create close working relationships across the organization, third party suppliers, and our customers to improve operational efficiency and safety; measure effectiveness of all internal and external IT processes, and produce timely, accurate and complete reports on the IT status of the Company; develop and maintain the IT budget as well as provide ongoing review and input of the Company's financial performance; foster the Company's core values and culture throughout the work environment; screen, interview and make recommendations for hiring potential associates, coach and provide leadership, direction, motivation and supervision of direct reports, and appraise performance, provide performance feedback, take corrective actions and oversee training and development of staff; and perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
A Master's degree in Business, Management or a related field.
Eight (8) years of experience in information technology, information systems development and technical team management.
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in resource management and developing and retaining technical staff, which may have been obtained as part of or separate from the eight (8) years of experience in information technology, information systems development and technical team management.
Experience must also include:
Information technology leadership experience including analyzing and articulating complex issues and technologies and developing culture of responsive customer oriented services and accountability;
Development frameworks, including Object oriented programming, .NET, Sharepoint, Web Services, SQL server databases, CRM and ERP Solutions;
Project management certifications (such as PMP, ScrumMaster or equivalent); and
Resource management in multiple geographies.
